Hi, my name is Marissa. I'm a 21 year old Boston College student and marathon runner. I have a passion for fitness, running and nutrition as well as music, art, concerts, playing instruments, marching band, cheerleading, fashion, Neuroscience, Psychology, cooking, Boston, movies and of course certain tv shows (The OC and One Tree Hill in particular).

When I weighed myself 2 days ago, a day before I was going to get my period, the scale said 117.8
When I weighed myself today after eating a normal breakfast, the scale said 116.2
When I weighed myself after running 8 miles the scale said 114.6
I did this for a reason - the scale fluctuates daily!! It is not something you can rely on, so don’t take it so seriously. Don’t get so hung up on a number. Focus on how you feel as well as other non scale victories! :)
