My dinner looked pretty - kale and tofu, brown basmati rice and broccoli. :) so many greens
My boyfriend bought me peanut butter and chocolate puffins, which were to die for this morning. SO delicious with almond milk and a banana!

I made this for myself after a decent 7 mile run today. My calves are still not happy but I’m gonna stretch them out a lot tonight and before running again tomorrow. I’m gonna take it easier tomorrow and possibly only do 10 miles, see how I feel.
Which usually doesn’t happen on the weekends because I wake up late and then don’t feel like actually making something for myself, so I grab some dry cereal and a spoonful of peanut butter and call it a day…haha.
Today I had 2 egg whites, black hazelnut dunkin donuts coffee, ezekial toast with some peanut butter and some plain non fat greek yogurt (I’ve been trying to eat it without adding anything to it!)
But when I went to go make breakfast, I had to be reminded that everyone else left the kitchen an absolute disaster and it is grossing me out so much. Now I have to spend my time cleaning it because I can’t leave it, it will just bother me…and I KNOW no one else will clean it for a few days.

So many I eat on a regular basis!
I have had (and love) everything except lentils - need to try them now that I’m working this vegetarian diet!

Here’s a training update for you all…
Yesterday I got my 16 miler done because I knew the snow storm was going to hit right when I wanted to do my long run today (AS USUAL). I’m really glad I got it done but it was an interesting experience…
I sort of got lost and freaked out about finding my way home when it was dark and starting to get late. I also pushed myself to 16 even though I was feeling pain - I ended up taking a walking break between 14 and 16 because I just really needed it. I also got caught in some snow towards the end…it was not fun. I banged my knee going over a railing to cross the street and find Comm Ave so I could at least feel better about where I was….I have a couple of nice bruises now.
I’m really hoping I can get past 16 miles in my training, because that was not comfortable for me at all. On top of being tired and my legs feeling heavy, I started getting pain in my lower calf/ankle on one side and pain in my heel on the other.

After my run I made myself a stuffed pepper with veggie ground “meat” and it was delicious!! I decided I am going to try out not eating meat for at least the duration of Lent, and then see how I feel from there. I haven’t had any meat for over 10 days now…I desperately miss my fish, but I’m hanging in there. I think in the end I might just become pescetarian, but we’ll see how it goes.
I added some cheddar cheese, avocado, paprika and curry powder to the veggie meat and then baked it in the pepper for 15 min at 350!

Yum! Before going out for a party I also treated myself to some pink Moscato from Trader Joe’s…it’s so good and actually fairly strong (haha).
