Hi, my name is Marissa. I'm a 21 year old Boston College student and marathon runner. I have a passion for fitness, running and nutrition as well as music, art, concerts, playing instruments, marching band, cheerleading, fashion, Neuroscience, Psychology, cooking, Boston, movies and of course certain tv shows (The OC and One Tree Hill in particular).

This blog is for things that I like and also to inspire a healthy lifestyle for myself and others. I love sharing interesting things with the world and hope that I can help people along the way.

Practiced more yoga tonight!

I went to the gym and did some speed work, about 3.75 miles total. Then I worked on biceps and back.

When I came home I practiced some poses a bit more, and wow…I really did start sweating. I was practicing for maybe about 20 - 30 minutes and I could definitely feel it.

My forearm stand (hopefully soon to be scorpion) is getting better and so is my head stand! These are only being held for seconds at a time, but it’s an improvement….a little while back I was complaining that I would never be able to hold myself up. I have a strength training schedule that I have created for myself and it seems to be working for me. 

Then I had a Peanut Butter Cookie Luna Bar…soo good.
