I wanted to post about this yesterday, but my internet was being weird.
So I thought the gym closed at 5:45 pm on Thursday, therefore I was pretty sure I’d only have time for a quick ab workout and maybe some bike riding. I was very happy to find out that it was actually open until 8:45 pm!
It’s been so long since I had the ability to spend as much time as I wanted in the gym without anything else to do, so I took advantage of that.
My workout consisted of:
4 mile tempo run - 1 mile warm up, 2 miles at 8:30 pace, 1 mile cool down (That two miles in the middle killed me, but I really pushed through - unfortunately still regaining strength in my legs)
9.3 mile bike ride
Abs - 30 sit ups with 10 lb weight (x2), 30 Russian twists with 10 lb weight (x2), Dumbell side dips with 20 lb weight (x2 both sides), 1 min plank
Legs - 10 reps (x3) on abductor and adductor machines, 7 squats with 15 lbs (x3)
It was hot as hell in that place, and I sweat so much…but it felt great!
As you can see, I was soaked.

I also made myself a new work out play list because I desperately needed a change. I’ve been listening to the same stuff for too long, and this left me feeling fresh and motivated. Thanks to Charlotte for some of the recommendations!

I personally like running to “Call Me Maybe” because my boyfriend likes to be silly and sing that song, so it automatically makes me think of him. I miss him and I can’t wait to see him so soon! <3
Then I made myself some quinoa and a tomato basil pizza veggie burger!

Also, I had some of this, which is SO GOOD:

Ice cream made from almond milk! It has less fat and sugar than regular ice cream, and still tastes AMAZING. I finished that container within like 3 days…YUM.
